About Erica

Erica Bonham, LPC, MA, graduated with honors in 2011 from the University of Colorado, Denver with a degree in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education.  She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado.  She is also a certified yoga instructor and often draws on her experience with yoga to enrich her counseling practice.

Erica has worked as a therapist in a variety of settings and with a diverse array of clients and issues. She was honored to work on the Adult Outpatient Team at Arapahoe Douglas Mental Health Network for six years and has served as an adjunct psychology  instructor at Front Range Community College.  She has also worked both in the US and overseas as an HIV/AIDS educator and counselor, she has taught yoga in the Denver Women’s Prison and at the Gathering Place for families experiencing homelessness and has facilitated WINGS groups for survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

Erica is a proud mom of two little boys and in her free time enjoys yoga, hiking, being in nature, and spending time with family and friends.  She gains inspiration and growth in her work as a counselor and approaches each client with a genuine curiosity, honesty and empathy.  She believes that everyone is capable of a joyful, vivacious life and that everyone deserves love, respect and a sense of self that shines with laughter and gratitude.  She is honored to be a part of your journey towards a healthier and happier life and looks forward to meeting with you.
